Edward H Thompson

Edward H. Thompson (1879 - 1949) was born in Cumbria. In his lifetime he painted as many as ten thousand paintings and most of them of the Lake District.

Thompson also painted picture postcards for Valentines of Dundee. In the 1940s Valentines reproduced the pictures in the form of booklets and also calendars.
