G Ashley Hunter

G Ashley Hunter was born in Macclesfield, Cheshire in 1936 and has been a talented artist since childhood.

His love of animals and the countryside influences his self taught style of painting which in recent years has been mainly in oils. His paintings are created from observations made of animals in their natural environment, his early experiences of working on Cheshire farms and more recently his love of country sports.

G Ashley Hunter has held very succesful one man exhibitions and demand for his work is continually growing, many of his paintings and drawings are now in private collections in the British Isles and as far afield as Canada, USA, France and New Zealand.
